I used to work as a Sr. Software Engineer, spending most of my time doing LAMP development and occasionally HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I also contribute Drupal modules, help out an open source project, and attend a local PHP users group.
Some of the tools I use, love and highly recommend are:
jQuery – “The Write Less, Do More, JavaScript Library”
Kohana – “Swift, Secure, and Small PHP 5 Framework” (if you are familiar with CodeIgniter, it’s a PHP 5 spin-off of that, and it’s awesome!)
Drupal - Open source content management system and framework.
When I’m not coding, play in a band, compose (as a proud owner of a shiny new Logic Level I certification), do CrossFit and enjoy South California weather.
